RCTB Fall activity

We have a solution for a RCTB get-together this fall – It includes a work party to fill shell bags, a bit of a picnic and the raffle drawing. This is a voluntary activity. If you are the least bit concerned about COVID-19 please stay safe and be comfortable.

Here is the plan – As you know we will not be having the rake out of the 2019 clams. However we would like to have an outdoor work party that enables members to add the last few hours of service for the year and to see each other, socially distanced, of course.

Sunday, October 4 would have been Chowderfest on LBI. Even though that is canceled we still must have the drawing for the RCTB raffle at Taylor Street in Beach Haven at 3:00 PM.

Schedule for the day – YOU DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND ALL THREE ACTIVITIES. In fact, if you can only make a part of the activity that is just fine!

11:00 AM to 12:45 PM – Fill Shell Bags at Pelham Avenue in Beach Haven, see the operation and talk about the shoreline projects. Please bring flat shovel if you have one.

1:00 PM to 2:45 PM Picnic – we will have all the “eats”. (Location TBD)

3:00 PM – Raffle Drawing at Taylor Street in Beach Haven

if you plan to be there. We need a head count for the work party and the picnic.
