We will be meeting this Tuesday, 8/20/19, at 10:00AM to perform our normal weekly maintenance. Also we will be receiving 2 million oyster larvae for the spat tank on 8/20/19. I don’t know what time the larvae will arrive so be prepared to go through the process on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
We will need to acclimate the larvae to the spat tank temperature and salinity before they are placed in the spat tank. This will involve placing them in a bucket at various levels of salinity between the salinity at spawn and the tank salinity.
I will keep you informed as I receive more information.
