Closing paragraph – At this stage USACE acknowledges that the TSP could have adverse impacts on aquatic and other resources, though additional studies are necessary to determine precise engineering components and associated impacts. Based on the current level of analysis, the project is expected to directly affect over 153 acres of aquatic habitat. It is anticipated that 170 to 256 acres of mitigation will be required to compensate for project-related impacts to the aquatic environment.
